Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place base unit on stable surface.

  1. Charge handset battery: Insert battery into handset, place on base charger for 7 hours.
  2. Connect telephone line: Plug line cord from wall jack to TEL LINE jack on base.
  3. Connect power: Plug AC adapter into base and electrical outlet.
  4. Install additional handsets: Register each handset to base following manual instructions.

WARNING! Use only supplied Panasonic adapter. Do not place near water or heat sources.

First-Time Setup

Power on base and handset; follow prompts.

  1. Set date/time: Press MENU on handset, select SETTINGS > DATE/TIME.
  2. Set language: In SETTINGS menu, select LANGUAGE (default ENGLISH).
  3. Program phonebook: Add entries via MENU > PHONEBOOK > ADD ENTRY.
  4. Set answering machine: Press ANS ON/OFF on base to activate; record greeting.

Telephone Line: Standard RJ11 jack. Additional Handsets: Register via base.

Tip: Use surge protector for telephone line to prevent damage.

Using the Answering Machine

Digital system with remote access.

  1. Activate: Press ANS ON/OFF on base.
  2. Record greeting: Press RECORD on base, speak, press RECORD again.
  3. Play messages: Press PLAY/MSG on base or handset.
  4. Delete messages: Press DELETE during playback.
  5. Remote access: Dial your number, after greeting enter remote code (default 0000).
  6. Set rings: MENU > ANSWERING SYSTEM > NUMBER OF RINGS (2-9).

WARNING! Do not disconnect power during recording; may cause data loss.

Advanced Features

Call Block: Add numbers via MENU > CALL BLOCK. Intercom: Press INTERCOM on one handset, dial handset number (1-6). Call Transfer: During call, press INT then handset number. Eco Mode: Reduces power; enable in SETTINGS.

Care & Cleaning

Unplug before cleaning. Wipe with soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquids or abrasive cleaners.
